Fort Kaskaskia

Fort Kaskaskia is located north of Chester near Rt.3. There is a great view of the Mississippi River and of old Kaskaskia from a lookout area at the site. The Garrison Hill Cemetery is also on the site. It was moved there from old Kaskaskia in 1891.
